Meet the Designer
Run by self-taught cupcake /cake enthusiast Wendy Devereaux and head Designer Wendy is passionate about baking and finds that the only thing better than baking is decorating! (Oh & sharing them with others?) She bakes from scratch in small batches, and uses only the best all natural ingredients-no hydrogenated oils, no trans fats, no artificial flavors or preservatives. And it’s all about the butter!
She's always looking for new recipes and trying to find the best tasting and best looking cupcakes, cakes & cookies!!
Her background as a Graphic Artist and Illustrator, which is why she enjoys the decorating part so much, is just an extension of creativity in her life, and it seems to make people WAY happier than building an ad or logo for them!! Even just saying the word cupcake makes everyone smile... cupcakes are the perfect dessert, small indulgences you can eat without feeling guilty! Her business is growing thanks to all her loyal customers and delicious, decadent little cakes.

"Where do I start... Wendy is the most talented cake designer I know. Her eye for sculpting characters and shapes from four is absolutly amazing. She designed my 3 Tier butterfly wedding cake and it came out to be exactly what I invisioned and so much more. A whimsicle design ascended up the cake with an explosion of lilies and butterflies erupted from the top.
The best part of it all is the taste. Once you have the courage to cut through the cake the taste will sweep you off your feet. I highly recommend her to anyone, and I dare anyone to try just one. I took each of the girls a cupcake the other day when you had the chocolate ones. Olivia LOVES chocolate, Natasha always says she doesn't like chocolate cake. But I brought her one anyways. She crinkled up her nose when I gave it to her. THEN….. she took a bite and yelled OMG….. THAT IS THE BEST CUPCAKE I EVER HAD. She asked who made it and I said a girl at work is also a baker and she makes a lot of good stuff. She said you tell her to keep on bake'n. LOL It was hysterical! - Stacey Averesch
